The one about a job resume.

MORE exciting news over here! I have an interview at a preschool tomorrow for a head teaching position and I am beyond excited! ... I am nervous that I won't get it, however I am not keeping my hopes up in case that happens; but even to be given this opportunity to gain more experience in interviewing for jobs in the education field is awesome - I think!

I decided I needed to whip up a new resume, as mine is a few years old. I want it to really cater to the job that I am applying for.  I was going to edit my old one and decided that maybe I should take a look at what they are like nowadays.

I think I finally found a template that fit me, and shows all the skills that I want to show off.  I am pretty excited! 

I am off to the library to go print out my new finely tuned resume and transcript!  And decide what I should wear tomorrow!  Wish me luck!

The one about coming back!

HELLO!!!

I am back! AND what helped push me to get on here is something I got very excited about.  And that is... *drum roll please* ... $9.90 glasses.  And yes, I am SERIOUS.

Have you ever heard of Firmoo?  Well, it's a lovely website that sells tons of glasses! Scripted glasses, fashion glasses, sunglasses... all of the sorts.  I just placed an order and since it was my first time, it was FREE!  The reason it was $9.90 was the shipping and an anti-glare upgrade.  I am so EXCITED!

I sat here toying for a L-O-N-G time trying to decide if I wanted black or tortoise.  At first I had both of them in the cart and I was going to get one pair free and pay for the other but then I decided I should just get the free pair first, to make sure it was worth my money.  I decided on the tortoise because I have always wanted something different than black, and I already have black - so I thought lets be different than usual; for once.  I used to have red glasses when I was in 6th grade.. but I lost them.  ... okay I really chucked them in the lost in found at school because I HATED them, and said that I lost them.. 

Anyways, this is exciting news I think!  I can't wait to see how they are and to buy so many more!  .. Usually I pay at least $100 at the glasses shop (which I go to a discounted place at the submarine base) and I am never satisfied with the purchase, and then mad that I wasted more then $100 to be ugly!

Needless to say, I am pumped.

It is now time to run errands.  I am hoping to hit a couple of consignment stores today too! .. In which I will posting on Thursdays about "Thrifty Finds Thursdays" .. or something cheesier to that effect.  We will see!

The one about juggling.

I was wondering why I was feeling so overwhelmed .. Then I realized, maybe it is because my brilliant dumb self decided to take on seven classes this semester. Two more weeks!!!!! Evidently I am no good at doing both school and blogging. However, I will be back soon & really going at it. Have a wonderful night little blog.. while I go work on a research paper.. on a Saturday night.. FUN!

The one about the 1st post.

It's official!  I finally have my blog up and running,looking as lovely as I imagined.  I can check off a new years resolution already - completed by January 2 . . . not to shabby!  My next goal is to get my Etsy shop full of items.  It is finally all set up too, it is just without pretty products to sell {I really just need to get my camera out and shots taken}.  My goal to have that done is by January 22nd - before the school semester starts.

Well!  I am just happy to get this up and running where I can finally start posting without feeling like I have tons to do with the look of the site.  I will also say that I am happy that I did it all myself - the design, the html changes, & well - everything!  

Now that I have broken the seal for the first post I must go and do some dishes tidy the home up before the boyfriend {Chad} comes home so we can get started on cooking lasagna for dinner, yum!
